Who We Are

Capital (Bonded) Program
A capital bonded project is a major project classified as either a Critical Maintenance project or a Strategic Initiative project. These projects are funded through the State University Construction Fund (SUCF) as allocated to the University through the State Legislative Process.
Small Scale Capital Program
A Small Scale Capital Project (SSCP) is one that will not have a major impact on the campus and the total cost of which shall be $1.0 million or less.
Business Support
Facilities Planning & Design’s Business Support unit provides administrative, financial, and accounting services.
Physical Space Inventory
A space inventory that tracks use, assignment, area, etc. for analysis and local, state, and national reporting purposes.
Project Management
The overriding purpose of Project Management is to assist our campus clients throughout the various steps and processes necessary to bring a construction project to a successful completion.
Code Review & Building Permits
One of the services that we provide during the Construction/Contract Management phase of a project is Code Review and issuance of a Building Permit.
Capital Facilities & Space Planning
The Office of Capital Facilities and Space Planning (A sub-division of The Office of Academic Planning and Budget (APB)) orchestrates the pre-construction planning and design phases of the Major Capital Programs Process and coordinates all university space management activities.
