University Facilities is made up of five core units that provide both direct and advisory services to support the University’s mission. Facilities Operations provides custodial, maintenance and repair services through our Customer Service and Trades departments. The Facilities Planning and Design unit provides building design, restoration and renovation services. Environment, Health and Safety Services acts as consultants on all matters of environmental compliance, performs safety inspections of campus facilities and conducts safety training.  Our Utilities Management division monitors utility costs, purchases renewable resources and promotes energy conservation.  UB Green is the environmental stewardship office, promoting campus environmental responsibility, recycling, alternative energy and green building design. Together we use our expertise to strive to meet customer expectations while providing a safe, healthy and attractive environment.
