FUNCTION 

One of four matching dormitories surrounding Kimball Tower that began UB's history as a residential college, Schoellkopf remains a dormitory.

NAMESAKE 

Jacob Fredrick Schoellkopf, Jr.Jacob Fredrick Schoellkopf, Jr. (1858-1942) was a member of the University Council. He was also the first chairman of the Buffalo Foundation, and a chairman of the Niagara Falls Power Company.
