FUNCTION 

Functions as a typical press box area for sporting events, providing a platform for photographers, game statisticians and announcers.

NAMESAKE 

The women's softball field is named after Nan Harvey, who was the Senior Woman Administrator/Associate Athletic Director for the Division of Athletics. Ms. Harvey was a 1978 graduate of UB in Physical Education. She had served in several capacities here at UB including coach for softball, basketball, and strength. Nan Harvey bequeathed a substantial amount of money to UB's women's athletic program which included this press box facility.
