Fire and Life Safety

There were 8 fire incidents reported in 2009: Four in the residence halls, three in academic buildings and one vehicle fire.

If you detect a fire in a campus building or residence hall:

Alert occupants
Pull the fire alarm
Call University Police at 2222
Exit by nearest stairway. Never use elevators.
Off-Campus fire emergencies dial 911.
