Recognition and Memorial Markers

University Facilities will support the planting of trees and placement of identifying plaques by individual or departmental donors in memoriam or recognition of our university colleagues.
General site locations can be designated by the donor. University Facilities will specify the exact location of the tree based on site characteristics.
University Facilities will provide the donor with a list of different trees from which a specific species can be chosen for the site. 
The cast bronze plaque will be 6” x 8”, have raised lettering, and will be permanently mounted to a concrete base. University Facilities will put donor in contact with a vendor who will manufacture the plaque. Donor will work directly with the vendor on wording and to pay for the plaque.

Recognition and Memorial marker associated costs

Tree
$100 - $200 depending on size and variety of tree. Donor will work with University Facilities on tree selection and pays nursery directly.
Plaque
$100 – $175 depending on wording. Donor pays vendor directly.
Planting Tree
$200 – includes transport of tree, planting, fertilizing and irrigation.
Plaque Installation
$150 – includes fabrication of base, mounting the plaque, and placement of plaque and base at site.
Total
$550 - $725
